Cardinal, fixed and mutable signs, explained
Every zodiac sign is one of three modalities. This is the pattern behind why signs feel the way they do.
Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) initiate. They start seasons and start conversations.
Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) stabilise. They hold the middle of the season and hold their ground.
Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) adapt. They live in the transitions between seasons and between ideas.
Modality is often more visible in someone's behaviour than element — pay attention to how, not just what.
